I got my first acoustic at 6 and learned my first blues riffs from my uncle.
When I was 11 a friend leant me a Queen cd and I fell in love with the guitar intro to One Vision and soon after got an electric.
I started taking proper lessons at about 13 for a short time and got into Steve Via and Joe Satriani. My friends were learning Oasis riffs and I was trying to learn Vai licks (still trying!!).
I went to Burnley College and did a BTEC in music and started playing in my first cover band.
After college I moved down south to study at the Academy of Contemporary Music.
My biggest influences on the guitar are Brian May - Steve Vai - Joe Satriani - Gary moore - Steve Lukather - SRV and Guthrie Govan.
